Comics on Coffee is a family owned coffee company serving premium coffee to people who love comics, heroes, and Lord of the Rings. We import our high-quality coffee beans directly from farmers around the world and roast 5 days a week at our facilities in Fort Myers, FL.

We are directly connected to the farming communities at the origin of our coffee. Our goal is to do more for those with less, foraging a new type of relationship with coffee farmers to make sure that happenes.

Where does your coffee come from?

Our coffee comes from various coffee-growing regions around the world, and we have started a program to become an integral part of a coffee cooperative in Nicaragua. Here, we share fair business practices with farmers, fostering family unity at the source. At Comics on Coffee, we help coffee families stay together and produce coffee at the origin, ensuring excellence in every cup.

What types of coffee do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of coffee, typically featuring Nicaraguan varieties such as Pacamaras, Maragogipes, and Javas. Our selection includes single-origin beans, special blends, and flavored options, encompassing both Arabica and Robusta coffee. The Robusta coffee contains extra caffeine, ensuring there's something for every coffee lover.

How can I subscribe to receive your coffee regularly?

You can manage your subscriptions through messages, and at the top of our store, we have placed a button that says "Manage Your Coffee Subscription." Here, you have access to cancel, skip, or modify your order in any way you need. In case you want to cancel and are unable to do so, you can call us or send us messages at (239) 244-8664.

What is your shipping policy, and how long does it take for my order to arrive?

We strive to ship orders promptly, and delivery times vary depending on your location. Typically, it takes 2-5 business days. When you place an order, we will automatically notify you with the tracking information so you can monitor the fulfillment. We aim to make shipments as fast, easy, and safe as possible for all our customers.

What is the shelf life of your coffee once I receive it, and how should I store it?

Our coffee is roasted after you place your order, ensuring it is completely fresh. Typically, coffee needs between 24 to 48 hours of rest to release gases after roasting. After this period, the coffee's gas loss occurs more gradually. Consequently, our bags may appear slightly swollen upon receipt, and when you open them, you may experience an explosion of aromas. Upon opening the bag, oxygen, the agent that breaks down coffee, begins to oxidize it. Therefore, it is best to store the coffee in a vacuum-sealed bag or an airtight container with a lid, and keep it away from sunlight.

Do you offer decaffeinated coffee?

For those days when you need that Bold aroma and taste of coffee without the jitters. We bring you, Disastrous Decaf. Brimming with juicy bright flavors, these full bodied Indonesia beans will brighten your morning like scoring two tickets to Comic-con!

Do you have organic or fair-trade coffee options?

We do not yet have USDA organic certifications. However, our green beans are obtained through fair practices via Direct Trade. We prioritize building sustainable relationships that involve fair trade and ensure that farming practices are environmentally conscious.

Can I customize my coffee subscription?

Go to "Manage Your Subscription," then click on "Split My Coffee Subscription." Next, delete the product you need to remove and add the new one. If you need assistance, you can contact us at (239) 244-8664

Do you offer gift options?

We offer both "gift card" options and long-term options in our "Coffee Time Subscriptions." Each option comes with a complimentary gift note. In the cart, you can select "mark as a gift," and we will ensure to include the note you write for the sender along with the coffee of their choice.
